Cruise & traction control notes

October 2025: Issues were reported with the 2023 1290 Super Adventure S and 2024 790 Adventure R. A rear ring with a matching tooth count addressed those reported issues.

For a 2024 790 Adventure R with cruise control, email us before ordering to discuss the correct setup. The September 2026 ACC notice above remains relevant.

*****IMPORTANT NOTICE SEPTEMBER 2026
Adaptive Cruise Control:
The current front/rear correction ring setup may cause the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) to disengage or become unavailable. A solution is currently being tested. Please contact us before ordering for this model.
*****IMPORTANT NOTE OCTOBER 2025: Some new bikes (so far 2023 1290 Super Adventure S, and 2024 790 advR) had issues with cruise control and traction control. Getting a matching tooth count for the rear wheel fixes the issue. IF YOU PURCHASE A FRONT CORRECTION RING AND YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH EITHER CRUISE OR TRACTION CONTROL YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE REAR RING
 
*****IMPORTANT NOTE SEPTEMBER 2025: I had one customer, with a 2024 790 ADVENTURE R, who's Cruise Control didn't work with just the front ring. It needed the Rear Ring too. So if you have the same bike and plan on using cruise control please email me to set up a custom order.

Speed correction (FRONT ONLY).
 
Corrects the 5% speedometer inaccuracy. 
[Example: GPS shows 60mph (96.5kph), but the speedo shows 63mph (101.4kph)]
